Global View deployment
Global View is a core module of the Virtana Platform that provides a centralized, unified dashboard to monitor and manage performance across your entire infrastructure. This section helps you deploy it, keep it current, and complete the first-time setup.
K8s/Helm-based install
Installs a new Global View instance on an existing Kubernetes cluster using Helm and a global-view-values.yaml file. Use this method when you deploy Global View on your Kubernetes cluster for the first time. See Deploying Global View on Virtana Platform for details.
K8s/Helm-based upgrade
Upgrades an existing Helm-based Global View to a newer release, with a separate path for each source version. Use the path that matches the version you run now. See K8s/Helm-based upgrade for details.
OVA or virtual appliance
Deploys Global View as a self-contained virtual appliance, covering prerequisites, deploying the virtual machine, installation, and upgrades. You can deploy Global View as a virtual machine when you don't have an existing Kubernetes cluster to install on. See Global View Virtual Edition/Appliance for details.
Post-installation
Covers first-time access and registration, integrating Infrastructure Observability (IO) with Global View, and optional setup such as GrowthBook feature flags, Virtana AI, and single sign-on (SSO). After installing, you confirm your registration, log in to the dashboard, and connect IO to Global View. See Post installation for details.
