Host Map

The Host Map enables the services data when the Pods/nodes from the Kubernetes cluster are connected with processes hosted under a standalone VM operating outside the cluster. The process exporter collects the data from the externally hosted virtual machine and sends it to Prometheus.

From the Host map, you can analyze the following:

  • Number of processes and process groups operating in the host.

  • Resource usage, metrics, configuration, and logs.
