Topology
Topology is the principal way to get an application perspective. It provides users with a graphical view that shows all the application components and their interactions and data flow between them. This includes a real-time application topology, inbound and outbound traffic flow, as well as telemetry, configuration, and performance of microservices.
Topology enables users to understand the functioning of their overall application behavior, inbound and outbound traffic flow between microservices, custom metrics, configuration, and performance of Services, Pods, Nodes, Containers and provides contextual distributed tracing for applications, microservices, and their dependencies.

From Topology, you can:
Navigate to different views to understand the behavior of services.
Service-to-service dependencies by enabling Tracepath.
Setting SLO targets for metrics.
Visualize Metrics, Logs, Events, and Network Connections of each service, container, node, Pod, process, and host.
Drilldown to each service in Topology to monitor the performance of its resources, the network transmits/receives, and its metrics health.
Enable real-time flow tracing between interdependent containers.
Get layer 4 and 7 performance views across all service components for causal analysis.
