Installation Prerequisites

The Redfish REST API must be enabled on the Redfish device. One configured device represents a single Redfish System. The following configuration parameters must be set for the device.

REST API Access

  • Redfish System Name : The Redfish system name is defined by the user and must be unique across all configurations.

  • Redfish Hostname/IP : The hostname or IP address of the Redfish device.

  • REST API Username : The username used to authenticate with the Redfish REST API.

  • REST API Password : The password used to authenticate with the Redfish REST API.

  • REST API Port : The port number used to connect to the Redfish REST API.

  • Use HTTPS : When enabled, the connection to the Redfish device uses HTTPS.

  • Verify HTTPS : When enabled, SSL certificates are verified to ensure a secure connection.

  • Polling Interval : Defines how frequently metrics are collected from the Redfish device.
