White Labeling Virtana Platform
If you are a reseller or MSP licensed with Virtana Platform and you want to put your brand on the Virtana Platform application, you can use white labeling to modify the color, logo, and favicon for web pages and emails.
You also have the option of changing the Virtana Platform login URL so it reflects your company name.
All white-labeling modifications are done at the organization level for the MSP or reseller. An administrator role is required to implement white labeling.
Access this White Labeling from Settings.
Domain and URL options
You can keep the default Virtana domain, use a Virtana subdomain, or configure a fully custom domain.
Default Virtana Platform domain
The default Virtana Platform domain is app.cloud.virtana.com. If you want to use this domain, you don't need to do anything.
Virtana subdomain
You can create a branded subdomain under Virtana’s domain space. You can define a short alias (maximum 10 characters) for the Virtana subdomain app.virtana.io to create your branded URL. For example, <alias>.app.virtana.io.
Custom domain
To use a custom domain name, you will need to configure it at your domain provider first. To configure the custom domain, see Configure a Custom Domain.
User interface branding options
You can configure the visual elements used across the Virtana Platform.
Navigation color
You can set the color of the top navigation bar, that include default Virtana blue theme. The selected color applies across the Virtana Platform for your organization and can be inherited by child organizations where supported.
Logo
Use a horizontal or square logo that remains legible at small sizes and complements the selected navigation color. The application header and login page support SVG and PNG formats, with a maximum file size of 1 MB and preferably a transparent background. When uploaded, this logo replaces the default Virtana logo for all users in the organization and can optionally be inherited by child organizations.
Favicon
Use a simplified, high‑contrast icon that remains recognizable at the typical display size of 16 × 16 pixels. The favicon supports SVG and PNG formats, with a transparent background recommended for optimal rendering across browsers, tabs, bookmarks, and favorites. Ensure the design is minimal and clear to maintain legibility at small sizes.
Email logo
Use a clean, email‑friendly logo that renders well on light backgrounds and fits within constrained layout spaces. Supported formats include PNG and JPG, with a transparent or white background recommended for optimal clarity. This logo appears in system‑generated emails, such as user invitations and select notifications that support organization‑level branding, and is automatically scaled to fit the email template.
