Logging in to the Virtana Platform
This section describes how to access the Virtana Platform using supported browsers and available authentication methods.
Accessing the login page
To log in to the Virtana Platform:
Open the latest version of any of the browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge.
Navigate to https://cloud.virtana.com/.
Access requirements
You must be invited by a Virtana Platform administrator before you can access the application. After your invitation is approved, Virtana sends you an email containing the instructions to complete your account setup or your login details.
Authentication methods
Virtana Platform supports the following authentication mechanisms:
Single Sign-On (SSO)
If your organization has configured SSO, it becomes the mandatory login method. You must authenticate using your organization’s identity provider to access the platform. To view SSO configuration details, see Log in with SSO.
Password-based authentication
If SSO is not enabled for your organization, you can log in using the username and password provided in your invitation email. To view authentication in detail, see Log in with Credentials.
Post-login access
After successfully logging in, you are granted access to:
All Virtana Platform modules that your company has purchased.
Features and capabilities for which your administrator has assigned you the appropriate permissions.
