Log in with SSO
This section explains how you can access the Virtana Platform when Single Sign-On (SSO) is enabled for their organization.
SSO configuration requirement
Your organization’s administrator can configure Single Sign‑On between your identity provider (IdP) such as Okta, Azure AD, and the Virtana Platform. When SSO is enabled:
All users must authenticate using SSO.
Virtana Platform validates your identity by redirecting authentication to your organization’s IdP.
SSO can only be used by accounts that have a valid license assigned.
Before accessing the platform you must be invited by an existing Virtana Platform administrator.
Accepting the invitation
When you receive the Virtana invitation email:
Select Accept Invitation.
You are redirected to your organization’s IdP sign‑in page, for example, Okta.
Sign in using your organizational credentials.
After successful authentication, you are automatically redirected to the Virtana Platform.
Your Virtana Platform user account is created during this process.
Logging in after account creation
Once your account is active, you can log in using one of the following:
Virtana Standard URL: Go to https://cloud.virtana.com/.
Custom Domain: If your organization uses a custom URL or subdomain, use that instead.
If you are already logged in to your SSO provider, you can enter your email address to log in to Virtana Platform. Otherwise, you are redirected to log in to your IdP first.
Note
All Virtana Platform accounts use email addresses as the username. You must use the exact email address associated with your invitation.
