Installation Prerequisites

The following prerequisites must be met prior to installing the IBM Mod integration:

  • The IBM Mod integration release 4.1.1 (included in the September release Integration Bundle ) is compatible with version IO 2025.5.1 onward.

  • IO license that supports IBM Mod must be downloaded and available for installation.

  • IBM SAN Volume Controller (IBM Mod) Version 7.7.1.8 or later must be properly installed and configured.

  • A configured IBM Mod SSH user with:

    • Password or private SSH Key.

    • User Group of “Restrict Admin”, “Administrator”, or “SecurityAdmin” (superuser).
