Viewing K8s Map in Kubernetes

This section describes the Kubernetes cluster with overall categories that are in an enabled or disabled state when the target cluster is configured. Each category describes its configured details and the number of services under each category.

To view K8s Map, follow the steps:

  1. Log in to the Container Observability Application

  2. On the sidebar menu, click Kubernetes. The categories list is displayed.

  3. Select and click K8s Map.

The K8s cluster represents the type of categories that are enabled and currently disabled in the Map after the target cluster is configured. Each enabled category indicates the number of workloads running in each component.

The K8s Map enables you to view the details and monitor the following categories from the Kubernetes Cluster:

K8s categories

  • Deployments

  • Pods

  • Nodes

  • Endpoint

  • Service

  • Ingres

  • Config Map

  • Daemon set

  • Replicaset

  • Stateful set

  • Resource Quota

  • Cronjob

  • Job

  • Limit range

  • Pod distribution budget

  • Replication controller

  • Persistent volume
