Entity discovery in your environment

Entity discovery identifies the objects in your environment, called entities, such as nodes, ports, and storage devices, so IO can monitor them.

After you activate the applicable Wisdom Pack license and install the integration, set up IO to discover entities in your environment. Each discovery configuration is a discovery instance. You can create multiple discovery instances for each integration.
