Custom Metrics Dashboard

The Create Dashboard feature helps you create a new dashboard and customize it to monitor the type of metrics of any entity from the cluster you require.

Perform the following steps to create a new dashboard:

  1. Log in to the Container Observability application.

  2. On the sidebar, click Dashboards > My Dashboards > Create New. The Create Dashboard dialog box is displayed.

3. Enter the name of the entity in the Name field.

4. Select the entity type from the multiple options listed in the

Entity Type in the drop-down.

5. When you select the options from the Entity Type field, based on your selection, new fields are displayed as follows.

6. Enter the Name and choose the required Namespace, Entities, and Metrics.

7. Click Create. The new dashboard with the associated widget gets created under My Dashboards.

You can monitor the metrics health of the entity for each time interval.

Note: Container Observability allows you to create multiple widgets for your custom dashboard to monitor any entity within the cluster.
