Reports
Predefined report templates are provided for this integration. You can access them from the Reports tab and use them as-is or modify them to meet your needs. You can also create various report types related to integration entities.
For example, you might want to create a line chart that displays the loss of signal count for a user‐specified device node.
After a report is saved, the report can be persistently viewed from the Dashboard tab in IPM.
For more information, see “Reports” in the Virtana Infrastructure Performance Management User Guide.
The following predefined reports are provided for this Integration and can be viewed in the IPM Dashboard.
Report | Description |
---|---|
Template - SVC Cluster Summary | High-level summary of an SVC cluster |
Template - SVC Health and Utilization Overview | Shows open case status of SVC Clusters/Nodes, as well as link events, and utilization metrics for SVC Clusters |
Template - SVC Performance and Credit Starvation Comparison | Compares buffer credit, workload, processing, and response time data for SVC clusters |
Template - SVC Port and Cache Performance | Compares the utilization of an SVC to its response time (internal and external to the SVC) and cache health |
Template - SVC Troubleshooting | Shows worst performers from a response time, buffer credit, and processing perspective for SVC Clusters, their internal components, and virtualized storage |
You can also create various report types related to integration entities and view those reports in the dashboard.
For example, you might want to create a line chart that displays the loss of signal count for a user-specified SVC node. Once it’s saved, the report can be persistently viewed in the dashboard. For more information, see Chapter 6 “Reports” in the Virtana Infrastructure Performance Management User Guide.
The following table lists the metrics associated with each SVC report type:
