Installation Prerequisites

The following prerequisites must be met prior to installing the SVC Integration.

  • The SVC integration release 4.0.0 (included in the October release Integration Bundle ) is compatible with IO 8.0.0

  • A IO license that supports SVC must be downloaded and available for installation

  • IBM SAN Volume Controller (SVC) Version 7.7.1.8 or later must be properly installed and configured

  • A configured IBM SVC SSH user with

    • Password or private SSH Key

    • User Group of “Restrict Admin”, “Administrator”, or “SecurityAdmin” (superuser)
