Required Resources
IPM Virtual Distributed Edition is packaged as an Open Virtual Appliance (OVA) file.
The following resources are required for deploying the IPM Distributed Edition OVA file:

You need to plan to deploy a total of three VMs to support the IPM Virtual Distributed Edition.
ESXi Version 6.0 or later
VM Hardware Version 11
CPUs: 8 per VM
Memory: 32 GB per VM*
Disk: a minimum of 540 GB (500 GB for general use and 40 GB for swap space) storage per VM, thick provisioned, with 160 MB/sec sustained R/W throughput minimum.
Network connectivity to the infrastructure to be monitored.
Caution
* If the instance of IPM Virtual Distributed Edition will be used to run the Application Discovery Analytic, consider allocating 64GB RAM to the VM that will become the manager node.
