Preparing for Migration
Prior to processing data in the Virtana Platform Workload Placement module, data must be collected by . You should generate a Zip archive file to upload to Workload Placement for discovery.
The archive file incorporates information about a user-defined set of compute instances and applications. The file will include information such as VMware inventory and metrics, NetFlow conversations, applications from the CMDB, among other data.
