PowerScale Topologies
This Integration provides some predefined topologies that you can view on the Topology tab in IO.
When performing advanced filtering in reports and alarms, this topology is traversed, along with additional relationships of key elements.
Following is a list of the predefined topologies included with this integration.
Name | Description | Relates To | Used For |
Application – Dell PowerScale | Shows the relationships between the cluster, nodes and node ports. It also show how IP addresses (and thus hosts and applications) connect to the cluster via conversations | Application Tier Dell PowerScale Cluster Dell PowerScale Node Dell PowerScale Node Port Host, Virtual Machines etc | Reporting Alarming Topology Trend Matcher Application Dependencies |
Dell PowerScale | Shows the relationships between the cluster, nodes and node ports. | PowerScale Cluster PowerScale Node PowerScale Node Port | Topology Trend Matcher Application Dependencies |
Dell PowerScale – User | Shows the relationships between Isilon Users, Conversations, Nodes and Ports. Specifically it shows you how a user or IP has connected into the cluster historically | PowerScale Cluster PowerScale Node PowerScale User IP Address | Topology |
Dell PowerScale Cluster Nodes | Returns the nodes relating to a cluster | PowerScale Cluster PowerScale Node | Trend Matcher |
Dell PowerScale Node Ports | Returns the node ports relating to an Isilon Node | PowerScale Node PowerScale Node Port | Trend Matcher |
Base Entity Only | Returns just the starting node | The starting node, whatever it is | Trend Matcher |
