Monitoring Events

This topic helps you to monitor the events created when there is any state change of entity from the Kubernetes cluster. Container Observability identifies all the events occurring in the system for every time interval.

  • In the Kubernetes cluster, if there are changes such as the creation of a Pod, failure, deletion of a Pod, container, or node, etc, the events are recorded and listed for the time interval.

  • From Events, you can analyze the overall behavior of each entity from the Kubernetes cluster.

  • Container Observability notifies you of any event-based issues and generates the incident tickets that can be viewed in the Alerts. For more information, see Event-based alert.

  • You can view events of the specific entity directly by navigating through individual maps to monitor the exact cause of events that occurred.

Note

Note:

  • On the filter bar, you can filter the specific entity to view the events in the list by filtering the namespace as per your requirement.

  • On the top bar, you can choose a different time interval to view the events that are created due to state change.
