Installation Prerequisites

Kubernetes configuration needs a Service account credentials, certificate data (Client Certificate data and Client Key data), or a user config file (i.e. Kubeconfig file) to connect with the Kubernetes Cluster.

Prometheus access is required for getting metrics related to the categories shown below. Prometheus must be configured with a public (routable) IP address. Please refer to the Kubernetes Metrics Guide for more details.

Prometheus metrics categories:
