Deploying the South side components

This topic describes how to deploy the monitoring components and configure the endpoints of each component agent in Container Observability.

  1. Log in to the Container Observability application.

  2. Go to Admin and select Deployment Guide.

  3. Click Generate Token to Download YAML to download the SaaS server, authentication, and other configuration details for Agents and CNCF tools.

  4. On the Deployment Guide page, you can select the preferred cloud provider and type of operating system to get the generated installation commands to run.

  5. Copy the downloaded OpsCruise_values.YAML to your kubectl environment.

  6. Run the Helm commands to deploy the required open-source agents and collector components as per your requirement.

Note :

  • You can also disable gateways by setting them as “False” through Helm commands if not required.

  • To deploy the gateways under the AWS, GCP, and AZURE cloud platforms, you need to perform the additional steps by creating a permission policy cloud. For more information, refer to the Deployment Guide in your Container Observability environment.

  • To view the deployment guide in Container Observability, follow the steps:

  1. Log in to the Container Observability Application.

  2. On the top bar, click Admin.

3. Under Admin, select Deployment Guide.

4. The Deployment Guide page will be displayed with more details.
