Appendix

Container Observability discovers, gathers, and analyzes information on locally installed technology and cloud services. While metrics and logs are relatively easy to gather, Container Observability also collects configuration and status. In addition, Resources and Services that are related to the cluster(s) are also being monitored. Container Observability supports certain known Apps operating within the cluster and collects Application-level metrics associated with containers.

For example, Postgresql installed on Azure or GCP has some common aspects and some that are platform cloud-specific.
