Alerts Threshold

This dashboard shows the manually created SLOs and their underlying metric behavior. While Container Observability automatically determines the target threshold SLO value for a metric automatically, typically based on the last 24 hours of recorded data.

Here’s an example of how a metric can be monitored against its SLO:

  • The “Frontend/flow_L7_rsptime_max_ms” is a container metric in a frontend service.

  • By hovering on the graph, you can see the response time versus the threshold at each time interval.

  • If the metric against the SLO deviates from the actual configured SLO value, then Container Observability detects the breach and triggers an alert.
