Alert notification in channels

After the alert rules are defined and the required notification channels are configured in the YAML file, Container Observability pushes alert notifications to the required integrated channels. You can also route alerts as per your requirement.

Alert notifications in the following channels are as follows:

Email

Alert notification is pushed to email by Container Observability for an anomaly.

  • Click the Ticket ID number. It redirects you to the Alerts page to inspect the cause of the anomaly.

Slack

Alert notification is pushed to the Slack channel by Container Observability when an anomaly is detected.

  • Click More Information to view the details. It redirects you to the Alerts page in Container Observability to inspect the cause of the anomaly.

Mattermost

Alert notification is pushed to the Mattermost channel by Container Observability when an anomaly is detected.

  • Click More Information. It redirects you to the Alerts page in Container Observability to inspect the cause of the anomaly.

Microsoft Teams

Alert notification is pushed to Microsoft teams by Container Observability when an anomaly is detected.

  • Click Open in OpsCrusie. It redirects you to the Alerts page in Container Observability to inspect the cause of the anomaly.

StackStorm

Container Observability supports StackStorm , a platform for integration and automation across services and tools. It brings together your existing infrastructure and application environment and facilitates automating the environment. Further, it focuses on taking action in response to events.

The StackStorm messaging server helps to push alert notifications to desired channels. After the required alert channels are configured in YAML, the StackStorm server pushes the configured messages to the required alert channels.
