Alert Handling

This topic enables the user to configure the visibility and priority of alert notifications that are triggered for static and dynamic rules for logs, metrics, and ML-based issues in Container Observability.

To configure the alert rules visibility, you need to perform the following:

  1. Log in to the Container Observability Application.

  2. On the sidebar menu, navigate to Admin.

  3. Under Admin, select Alert Handling.

  4. On the top-right corner, click the + icon to ADD RULE.

  5. Under New Rule, from the Rule Type drop-down, select the required condition.

  6. Set Condition, Priority, or Visibility based on the selected Rule Type.

  7. Click Apply.

8. Go to Alerts, click Label to expand the visibility level and Priority, and select the check box low, high, or medium for visibility of alert notifications in the system as per your requirement.

9. Similarly, you can also change Sub Type and Target Type as per your requirement.
