Adding Linked Accounts in Bulk

Steps

  1. In Virtana Platform navigate to Settings > Integrations > Cloud Provider Integrations.

  2. On the Cloud Provider Integrations page, either select an existing integration instance in the list or click Add Integration and select an integration type.

  3. Under Linked Accounts, click Add AWS Account.

  4. Download the template to execute on multiple linked AWS accounts. For more information, see Deploying a Role to Enable the Organization Root Account to Trust Child Accounts

  5. Execute the Stacksets template.

  6. Click Fetch Linked Accounts to retrieve a list of the child accounts and decide and select which child accounts are to be monitored by Virtana.

  7. Click Save and click Save again to save the data source.

Note

Once the child accounts are fetched, you can assign alias names to them. Providing meaningful aliases makes it easier to identify accounts in the Virtana dashboard.
